Branded Sticky Notes for Curtin University

The Challenge

Based in Perth, Western Australia, Curtin University is a beacon of innovation and academic excellence. They knew that they needed something colourful and practical—something that would stick, even after the orientation week ended. That's why they turned to us to order 300 branded sticky notes to welcome their students with during their O-Week.  

Our Solution

We designed 300 custom combo sets of sticky notes, each branded with their school logo. Each pad was printed with Curtin University’s iconic logo on the black cover. They knew how much their students love taking down notes during orientation sessions and even during classes so, these custom sticky notes were perfect. The striking design, featuring Curtin’s signature black and yellow colour scheme, radiated energy, pride, and a sense of belonging, ensuring the sticky notes were both a practical academic tool and a vibrant symbol of the Curtin community.

The Process

For this project, we made sure to maintain constant communication with them, ensuring the sticky notes we supply meets their standards. With O-Week looming and thousands of students set to flood the Perth campus, our production and logistics teams pulled out all the stops, working efficiently to manufacture and deliver all 300 sticky note pads to Curtin’s campus in Perth, landing right on schedule for the orientation festivities.

The Outcome

These sticky notes were an instant hit! At the registration tables, their team stood by, ready to hand out these custom sticky notes to every student who registers. Upon receiving, the students loved the sticky notes. After seeing these sticky notepads, many of the students lined up to register, eager to get theirs. Across the campus, students embraced the notes in their daily routines: undergrads marked lecture slides with assignment reminders, postgrads flagged research articles for group discussions, and others used them to organise everything from study timetables to social events like the O-Week pub crawl.

This year's O-Week was a success. Thanks to these sticky notes, Curtin University was able to give out something practical, something that engaged their students. Beyond this, the constant presence of these sticky notes in dorm rooms, lecture halls, and libraries boost their visibility across the campus and constantly reminded their students of the privilege to be part of the Curtin community.
